Exchange in Lublin

Exchange in Lublin

At the end of the first module of “Connected with the Environment” project we had an incredible exchange in Lublin, Poland (19th of March – 23rd of March). The aim of this exchange was to summarize all the work in the 1st module “History & Culture” and to integrate with students from other countries.
The theme of the meeting was local legends. We created completely new legends using the elements of the history we had learned from each country. We wrote some scripts and did some props and costumes. It was very funny. We did it very well.

The other important thing was to present the outcomes of each school. We learned something about partner schools. We also learned some new facts about other countries, who are taking part in our project, and their traditions, history and culture. We saw all the things and all the “little projects” that we had already done. We have completed the following tasks: How have I changed,  The family tree, History of our school, History of our teachers, History of our city and legends. They were cool tasks and everyone learned something.

In free time we did a lot of funny things. One day “Polish Kids” wanted to teach students from Greece some Polish words.
On Tuesday we had the board games event. We played a lot of fun games and we integrated as well.

We also took part in the theatre workshops with Mr. Charles. We did a lot of activities connected with theatre. Everyone said something about their theatre experiences.
We got some nice gifts from Ms Joanna W. on our 1st day – the antistress ball, the pen, the luggage hanger and the writing pad (everything was blue and with our project logo).
We also had an amazing snow battle which took place behind the school. Everyone who wanted to go outside could do this. Thank you Greek people for being a part of this battle J
Despite the unfavorable weather, we managed to visit the Old Town and the Lublin Castle, as well the picturesque palace in Kozłówka and Kazimierz Dolny.
When we were in Kazimierz Dolny the best attraction was to throw the snowballs into the Vistula River.

To summarize, this exchange was incredible and unforgettable. We are going to remember it forever. Can you write something about your free afternoons in comments? Did you go to some interesting places? Who was your host (if you weren’t a guest you can write the answer for this question: Were you a host, if you were who visited you )?

We miss all of you! ♡

Conclusion On Netiquette

For the Erasmus 2018~2019 project, we made two posters about internet etiquette “Netiquette”. We made two of them, because we are an international and national school, which is why we created them in two languages, Slovene and English. The top three rules that we found, and thought were the most important are: 1.  Do not reveal your personal data, choose your password wisely and make it complicated. 2.  If you wont say it in real life, do not say it online. 3.  Think twice before posting a picture, because anyone can see it. In conclusion, by making these posters, we learned from them that you should be careful with social media. Especially, how you behave and what you post.

Action and Service Reflection May 2019- Austria

Undertake challenges that develop new skills The Erasmus+ Connected with the Environment Group basically focuses on collaborating and interacting with 4 other schools around Europe. It is a way to bring students together (with different cultural backgrounds and traditions) and challenge them in grouping with the other members, working effectively with one another and learning from each other through different ways. This is done through the different meetings which are organized for each of the four modules which every group from each school has to accomplish different objectives which might include: raising awareness, taking action, gathering data, researching, investigating and many more depending on the module itself and the specific objective that the student has decided to work on. As a member of this group, I think that the most important (if not one of the most frequent learning experiences used) which students have to face with is to undertake challenges and developing new...

Greece Module 3 Trip ISC

Greece Module 3 Trip ISC Austria We arrived on Sunday, 20th of January 2019 at the airport of Athens (Greece). We were soon after introduced to our host families, this is how our trip to Greece started! We spent the rest of the day in the company of our host families.  Monday The next day we went to school, in the CGS school in Athens, we're we started the day with a team building activity: treasure hunt. We were split up in groups were there was only one member from each country. And our main task was to collect all the envelopes, which contained the necessary hints in order to find the final treasure.  Later we had our first 3D printing workshop, which we were paired up with our host friend and we were assigned a piece of the Erasmus+ logo (for example, my group had to do a part of the Croatian flag).  In the afternoon, every country presented their outcomes for both Module 2 and Module 3.  Tuesday   On Tuesday, we all went to a trip which h...
