On Friday, 15th of March we went to Congress Square because there was a protest against increasing of climate change, that was organised by Slovenian teenagers and young adults. The project was started by Greta Thunberg in Sweden. She stopped attending school on Fridays and she didn’t plan to come back until The Swedish Government did something about climate change and pollution. School Day in Croatia

Every year on 19 th March our school celebrates School day. On that occasion, our teachers and students presented a wide range of after school activities. Among other things we presented all Erasmus projects in which we are participating at the moment. Our current project, Connected with the Environment , was presented by the members of the eco-team.   Using PowerPoint presentation, we listed all the activities we've done from the 1 st module until today. We created a brochure that was given to the visitors in order to inform them better about the goals and project implementation. Furthermore, we conducted a workshop “Ecological Footprint Calculator“, using tablets and mobile application “ Footprint ”.   We helped the visitors to calculate their ecological footprint, we commented on the result and gave advice on how to improve it. The visitors were mostly students and their parents but also members of the local community who have participated in the event with interest.

Module 4 - Ecology - CRO team

Croatian Eco team   started working on the last module of our project – Ecology. Our new team has just recently joined the project and we are very excited to be a part of it.  Last week we made a plan for implementing the tasks from the last module and today we did the first step. We started with the measurement of our eco-footprint.  Next week we are celebrating School day and on that occassion we plan to represent our project within all Erasmus projects in our school so we've prepared some presentations and posters. There will also be a workshop about how to measure your own eco-footprint. The participants will be the guests who will come to celebrate the School day with us.
