Blog - Work until now in school year 2018-19

In this school year our ERASMUS (connected to the environment) group has grown by one student and a lot of work is being completed.
In one of our first lessons we decided upon who will complete which task for the trip to Greece, which is coming up soon. The work upon the different aspects (A15,A13,etc...) has been decided up equally and fairly, so everyone has to complete the same amount of work and has the same amount of time to work on it. There is even a plan to have an electronic free day at our school for all grades above MYP1.
In addition yesterday (Monday, 12th of November) we had to give Mr.Ames our final scripts to attend the trip to Greece, which had to include why we want to go, why we should go and a lot more. I believe every single student in the ERASMUS group at our school has given off their paper, but as last year only six will be able to attend the trip. Out of this reason teachers are going to decide on who is going to take the trip - regarding our scripts.
All of us are already very interested about who will attend the trip and also about how our project is going to develop in the near future. Until now all of us are on track and we have enough time left to complete what has not been done yet.

Conclusion On Netiquette

For the Erasmus 2018~2019 project, we made two posters about internet etiquette “Netiquette”. We made two of them, because we are an international and national school, which is why we created them in two languages, Slovene and English. The top three rules that we found, and thought were the most important are: 1.  Do not reveal your personal data, choose your password wisely and make it complicated. 2.  If you wont say it in real life, do not say it online. 3.  Think twice before posting a picture, because anyone can see it. In conclusion, by making these posters, we learned from them that you should be careful with social media. Especially, how you behave and what you post.

Action and Service Reflection May 2019- Austria

Undertake challenges that develop new skills The Erasmus+ Connected with the Environment Group basically focuses on collaborating and interacting with 4 other schools around Europe. It is a way to bring students together (with different cultural backgrounds and traditions) and challenge them in grouping with the other members, working effectively with one another and learning from each other through different ways. This is done through the different meetings which are organized for each of the four modules which every group from each school has to accomplish different objectives which might include: raising awareness, taking action, gathering data, researching, investigating and many more depending on the module itself and the specific objective that the student has decided to work on. As a member of this group, I think that the most important (if not one of the most frequent learning experiences used) which students have to face with is to undertake challenges and developing new...

Greece Module 3 Trip ISC Austria We arrived on Sunday, 20th of January 2019 at the airport of Athens (Greece). We were soon after introduced to our host families, this is how our trip to Greece started! We spent the rest of the day in the company of our host families.  Monday The next day we went to school, in the CGS school in Athens, we're we started the day with a team building activity: treasure hunt. We were split up in groups were there was only one member from each country. And our main task was to collect all the envelopes, which contained the necessary hints in order to find the final treasure.  Later we had our first 3D printing workshop, which we were paired up with our host friend and we were assigned a piece of the Erasmus+ logo (for example, my group had to do a part of the Croatian flag).  In the afternoon, every country presented their outcomes for both Module 2 and Module 3.  Tuesday   On Tuesday, we all went to a trip which h...
