Greece Module 3 Trip

We arrived on Sunday, 20th of January 2019 at the airport of Athens (Greece). We were soon after introduced to our host families, this is how our trip to Greece started! We spent the rest of the day in the company of our host families. 
Monday
The next day we went to school, in the CGS school in Athens, we're we started the day with a team building activity: treasure hunt. We were split up in groups were there was only one member from each country. And our main task was to collect all the envelopes, which contained the necessary hints in order to find the final treasure. 
Later we had our first 3D printing workshop, which we were paired up with our host friend and we were assigned a piece of the Erasmus+ logo (for example, my group had to do a part of the Croatian flag). 
In the afternoon, every country presented their outcomes for both Module 2 and Module 3. 
Tuesday 
On Tuesday, we all went to a trip which have us the opportunity to explore and see the Museum of Acropolis, as well as the Acropolis itself. Later we went to Ancient Agora and for most of us, we ate Gyros for the first time. 
Wednesday
On this day we stayed at school to work on our 3D printing workshops (we had 2 sessions that day). And then in the afternoon we got to take part in some sport activities (either Basketball, Swimming or Athletics). 
Thursday
On Thursday, we also went on a long trip to Mycenae- the famous ancient fortress near Nafplio. We visited the museum and explored the ruins while admiring the breathtaking view. Later, we drove to Nafplio, and visited the beautiful city of the first Greek capital. 
Friday
Right now we are currently working on presenting our experiences and thoughts on this beautiful trip! And later we will present our observations... In the afternoon some of the students will leave early, and for the remaining students we will play some board games. And then, farewell!

FRIDAYS FOR FUTURE IN LJUBLJANA

On Friday, 15th of March we went to Congress Square because there was a protest against increasing of climate change, that was organised by Slovenian teenagers and young adults. The project was started by Greta Thunberg in Sweden. She stopped attending school on Fridays and she didn’t plan to come back until The Swedish Government did something about climate change and pollution. Soon her friends and other teenagers all over the world started to join her. The 15th of March 2019 was the day people from more than 100 countries gathered and protested for better future. In Ljubljana there were more than 9 thousand protesters. We interviewed a few people that attended the protest. We asked why are they here, what Planet B means to them and if they think so many people will make a difference. The questions we asked:  Why are you here today? PLASTIC BAGS BAN

On 28th of December 2018, Slovenians heard some exciting news. Our government decided that all plastic bags in stores need to be paid for!  This was great news because we have to start saving our planet now and not in 10 years, when it’s too late. I think it’s a great way of making people aware of how important recycling plastic bags is. Most people are already supporting complete ban of plastic bags, except the ones we use to put our fruit in because the’re necessary. But if, in the future, we will be able to find an alternative for them, we will completely ban them too.
