Fourth Module-Ecology

Hi guys! Today we started next and the last module of the Erasmus+ project, ecology. As a first task, we were analysing our carbon footprint. In order to do that we used a special calculator. If anyone of you wants to check how eco-friendly you are, check out this website http://www.footprintcalculator.org/ .

Then we talked about how to improve our school building. We were given a task to transform our corridor to make it a quieter area where we could get some rest or read a book. Some students presented their ideas for this project, they were very interesting and innovative.

Here are some results! Students were really shocked as sometimes people thik of themseleves as eco, but the truth is scary...

Action and Service Reflection May 2019- Austria

Undertake challenges that develop new skills The Erasmus+ Connected with the Environment Group basically focuses on collaborating and interacting with 4 other schools around Europe. It is a way to bring students together (with different cultural backgrounds and traditions) and challenge them in grouping with the other members, working effectively with one another and learning from each other through different ways. This is done through the different meetings which are organized for each of the four modules which every group from each school has to accomplish different objectives which might include: raising awareness, taking action, gathering data, researching, investigating and many more depending on the module itself and the specific objective that the student has decided to work on. Self evaluation

Today on Erasmus class we had a self evaluation . Everyone wrote a list of 6 people who should go on changing to Greece. We also wrote reasons why we should go on changing . We also watch a comic story made by our friend Weronika. Now everyone must do simmilar one and we will chose the best or make one together . ISC Summer Sports Day

ISC Summer Sports Day Friday 8th of June 2018 Since the end of the school year is approaching, each year at our school we do a Sport Day. On this special day, the whole school got together in the football field near our school, and we participated all together in different activities, such as Beach-volleyball, Paper plane race, Human Football and many others. After all the classes had their chance to participate in the activities, a running field was set up, because as a school each year, we all participate in something called a "Caritas Lauf", where students ran as many rounds around the field as they wanted to, and then find sponsors (family, friends, etc...) who were willing to pay a fixed amount of money for each of the rounds that the student would do. At the end, this money will then be donated to the Caritas Association, and would then be spent to pay for the education of the children that immigrated from Syria to the neighboring countries.
