Our initiative: STOP plastic bags and disposable plastic packaging

On Friday, April 12th, CRO project’s eco-team conducted a couple of workshops  to raise ecological awareness.  The main title was:  STOP plastic bags and disposable plastic packaging.

Eco-team has displayed educational facts on the board so the students and the guests could inform themselves about plastic noxiousness in general, especially about the negative effects of disposable plastic packaging on the environment. To set an example, they were handing out linen bags instead of plastic ones to all students who have participated in the workshops. The linen bags were sewn by students who attend extracurricular activities in the school. Some of the bags had the school motto stamped on it (“Prva je prva“ or “First is the first” ) and some bags were blank so the students had the opportunity to paint them themselves.

Furthermore, students were watching short educational movies about plastic pollution and the negative effects it has on plant and animal life.

In the end, students were offered to calculate their ecological footprint which they did with interest.

Conclusion On Netiquette

For the Erasmus 2018~2019 project, we made two posters about internet etiquette “Netiquette”. We made two of them, because we are an international and national school, which is why we created them in two languages, Slovene and English. The top three rules that we found, and thought were the most important are: 1.  Do not reveal your personal data, choose your password wisely and make it complicated. 2.  If you wont say it in real life, do not say it online. 3.  Think twice before posting a picture, because anyone can see it. In conclusion, by making these posters, we learned from them that you should be careful with social media. Especially, how you behave and what you post.

Erasmus+ presentations in MSP Paderewski

What have we done during those 2 years? Does everyone know about it? In order to answer those questions we decided to get into the classrooms and show the rest of the school what we have done. It turns out it was quite a lot, because not a single pair could finish in a 15 minute slot...so much to talk about! It was a great opportunity to show everyone how much work and effort we put into it and that it pays off to participate in the project!  We will see what the future brings! Let's hope we will get another project!
