Action and Service Reflection May 2019- Austria

Undertake challenges that develop new skills
The Erasmus+ Connected with the Environment Group basically focuses on collaborating and interacting with 4 other schools around Europe. It is a way to bring students together (with different cultural backgrounds and traditions) and challenge them in grouping with the other members, working effectively with one another and learning from each other through different ways. This is done through the different meetings which are organized for each of the four modules which every group from each school has to accomplish different objectives which might include: raising awareness, taking action, gathering data, researching, investigating and many more depending on the module itself and the specific objective that the student has decided to work on.
As a member of this group, I think that the most important (if not one of the most frequent learning experiences used) which students have to face with is to undertake challenges and developing new skills. This includes learning how to collaborate and work efficiently with other members of the group (during the Erasmus+ group meetings), developing and accomplishing work, such as a presentation or a final product.

I think that overall this learning skill is a very important part for being an Erasmus+ member since it enables you to do your best and participate actively with the other members to create a perfect learning environment.

Preparing for Velden vist

Today was a very busy day for Polish students :) We had to prepare some gifts for our Erasmus friends, but the process went quite smoothly. It was a lot of fun as we could also see some organisational differences between them and notice that everyone has our own way of putting the stickers onto the eco- notepad. How do you find our gifts? Boys vs girls

ERASMUS / Module 3 / Not getting hurt online / Paul and Thomas

Thomas and myself worked on this special part of the third erasmus connected with the environment module. At first only myself (Paul) completed the module, but later on Thomas joined in, as he himself did no longer have any work to do. Together we wrote down a skript, which we were going to present to the whole MYP in our school. And so we did! At first the skript was overviewed by one of our teachers, to see if there was anything missing, but then we were ready to go. In addition I created a poster to hang up in our school building. This poster represented the most important facts about using technology and the harms it has to be online/on social media. A total of 5 posters were hung up in our school and greatly appreciated by the students as well as the teachers.

Finalizing Gifts for Module 4 Meeting in May

At ISC we started planning some gifts to give for the guests at our Module 4 meeting in May. Since our Module is Ecology, we decided to think of eco-friendly gifts, such as bamboo products, wood materials, etc.. Below you can find a list of our initial ideas for the gifts which we brainstormed as a group. Our initial ideas where: An eco pencil case Bamboo pencils Small wooden cube containing seeds Pencils  Bag made of Eco-friendly materials Pens Bracelets made of recycled plastic t-shirts  After we brainstormed our ideas, we finalized them in order to order them right away and prepare them for the meeting in May.
